Sach... You are the life...

31st October 2009, I was at Indira Gandhi Domestic airport waiting to catch my flight for Bangalore.. That is the first time I saw Sachin in front of my eyes.. I do remember the Indian cricket team had arrived there to catch flight to Mohali for having next ODI match with Aussies..

All of the team members were passing through the waiting area corridor under huge security cover.. but one can easily spot Sachin in green t-shirt signing autographs for kids standing near by him.. Everybody was running towards the gallery to have a glimpse of the great little master.. despite of having camera with me, I was so mesmerized by his presence that i couldn't able to click any picture of him. The aura of greatness, humbleness (despite of being such a BIG Icon) that he carries himself is itself story teller of such a GREAT man of Indian Cricket Team.

Whenever we feel Sachin has conquered the Everest.. eventually he finds a new mountain to climb.. Today is the day when he added another feather to his crown.. only cricketer in the planet who has scored a double hundred(200*) in international ODI. He almost had reached this mark last year while chasing down Aus's 350 target.. perhaps it was SA who has to feel the heat of Sachin's Bat...

Congrats Sachin.. you are the true legend.. A phenomenon... thanks for giving us all such proud moments... Dedicating the 200* runs mark to People of India is just overwhelming.. hope we see many more such moments from your Bat...
